I just took the Dart out for a brief spin – its real warm out and I could not resist. Then I decided to try something. I held the brakes hard and pushed the gas all the way to the floor. The brakes held and the car didn’t move… good! I can launch consistently that way. Then I let go of the brake and the tire spun hard.

I have never checked the timing. I think the carburetor has some issues – mainly the accelerator pump seems to be lacking. If I make a turn and try to accelerate out of the turn the motor likes to die – especially when its cold. Probably needs to be rebuilt or adjusted.
