Video and Pictures from Yesterday

March 23rd, 2009 · No Comments

Here is a video of Keven taking the car out of his shop and putting it on the trailer. There was a slight panic moment when the car started going up the ramps, the truck started sliding downhill – the back tires were almost off the ground. Note to self – don’t load car up when parked on a downhill slope. Dave jumped into the truck and applied the brakes. Then there is a video of the car getting unloaded at the hose – with focus on the mufflers to make sure they won’t hit the trailer on the way out. Then – the next shot is of me driving it down my cul-de-sac. I did a short burst of acceleration. Unfortunately it was really windy yesterday (40 mph gusts!) and that knocked the camera over.

And I have some more pictures. These are of some interesting sights around Keven’s shop. Most are self explanatory. The picture of the Willys – the one on the left is what he calls "plastic". Its a full fiberglass body. The one on the right is a real steel Willys. There is a 1966 Barracuda hidden under the tarp behind the Land Rover.
