I ordered a CSR billet aluminum electric water pump from Dave (who runs the MopowerStyle forums), and it has arrived today. It will go into the car eventually to replace the weak pump that is on there now.

Ahhh…This set up would free up some horsepower on the motor…Wonder how much horespower would you add after switch from belt drive pump to electric pump?

The car already has an electric pump but it doesn’t seem to be working well - the water flow is pretty weak. I’m hoping that replacing it with this high performance CSR pump will produce much better water flow.
